Anne Proffit has worked in the automotive field for more than 35 years, writing auto reviews and stories about all forms of motor sport, as well as photographically illustrating her work. She has successfully raced small formula cars (appropriate for a small person) over the years but now prefers to let the younger women take the glory.

In addition to her photojournalism work, Anne has sold cars, been a service advisor and sold automotive refinish supplies to the trade.

These days, Anne’s primary outlet is Race Engine Technology, a British magazine specializing in the powertrain world.

Anne and her certified hearing dog Leah live in Long Beach, California, when they are not on the road chasing racing.
